thai stick weed seeds

Thai Stick was one of the most famous thai sativas imported into North America during the 70s and the 80s. These imported powerful and appreciated sativa flowers came from Thailand compactly packed in small stems of cannabis. Such was the potency of those Thai Sticks that smokers believed that they were bathed in hashish or opium. We exclusively offer you this much loved sativa that has been practically extinct in the usual cannabis-growers environment over the last decades. The seeds come directly from thai growers.

It requires medium-low levels of nutrients, especially of Nitrogen. For outdoor growing, it’s best to mix a good base of organic soil rich in guano and humus, and then plant the seeds in a sunny place and leave them to grow at their own rhythm almost without using fertilizers or stimulators.

For outdoor growing, it requires a tropical or subtropical climate in order to reach its full potential. However, it can be easily bred within latitudes of 20º-35º, where we recommend a warm and coastal climate. The use of a greenhouse is very helpful for the ripening in non-tropical latitudes.

9. Here, practices may diverge once again. Traditional Thai Stick makers bury their Thai Sticks underground for a month to improve curing. You can replicate this by putting your Thai Stick in a plastic bag and burying it in your yard. You can also do a “medium intensity” curing by vacuum-sealing your Thai Stick in a plastic bag and leaving it in the fridge for a week (an easy way to vacuum seal is to place you Thai Stick in a Ziploc bag, open it a crack, and suck all the air out with your lungs). If you feel you’ve waited long enough, you can smoke it without a final stage of curing.

As you may have gathered from the name, Thai Sticks originated in Thailand. No one knows how old they are, but it’s certainly many centuries, likely since soon after the introduction of cannabis to Thailand. Thai Sticks were one of many cannabis innovations which came from Thailand, along with the bong.

10. Be sure to remove the hemp string and the skewer from the middle of the Thai stick before smoking.

4. Wrap the tied-up stick in parchment paper. Place this whole contraption in the fridge, and leave it for a few days. This is the first of several stages of curing: a process to remove the moisture from the Thai Stick in order to prevent rot, enhance flavour, and help the stick set and harden.

As the name suggests, Green Gelato tastes like a smooth dessert. It’s far from saccharine, however. At 27% THC, this strain will rock you to another level. It’s the ideal choice for building a Thai Stick with all the incredible potency that had Vietnam soldiers writing home about, and bringing Thai Sticks home by the bucketful. Green Gelato is 45% sativa and 55% indica, producing a powerful but balanced high. Not recommended for beginners, but perfect for seasoned users looking to max out on potency.

6. Traditionally, this stage would call for another three-day process of curing. However, many modern users will compress the process and instead get all the fan leaves on at once, which is what we’re recommending here. Use more hash oil to coat your fan leaf-wrapped tube of bud, and apply another leaf. Repeat this process one more time, until your Thai Stick is wrapped in three leaves.

In the following decades, Thai Sticks remained a distant memory in America. But more recently, they’ve seen a comeback in the West due to a number of reasons. As the world has become more globalized, those who travelled to Southeast Asia brought back stories of these incredibly potent and uniquely constructed blunts. Also, the internet has allowed for the information on Thai Sticks to spread, along with instructions on how to make them at home. Finally, more and more Westerners grow their own plants, and consequently Thai Sticks become appealing as a way to consume weed without letting any part of the plant go to waste.

Thai Stick has a unique look with plenty of long thin leaves and branches hiding the fluffy light green and brown buds, which are covered in thick resins and sugar like trichromes. The smell will remind many of the scents and flavours of Southeast Asia, combining herbal notes of lemongrass, woody tones of pine and sweet and sour pops of lime. A robust earthy skunkiness hovers on the baseline, rounding out the organic natural aroma.

We require users to be 21 years old or over, please confirm your age.

A stimulating and expansive sativa style high is what you can expect from Thai Stick weed. A fantastic strain for social smoking and daytime use when clarity and motivation are important, providing a crystal clear high that won’t overwhelm you easily.

High CBD

Unlike the majority of marijuana available Thai Stick is a naturally occurring landrace sativa, free from any alterations or crossbreeding. Though once a byword for strength Thai Stick has since been eclipsed in power by modern hybrid strains, with THC levels generally measuring between 15-18% and no significant CBD presence. Further adding to its already significant legacy is its position as one of the most popular cannabis varieties used to create hybrid strains, birthing many fan favourites including Haze, Juicy Fruit and Voodoo.

A pure and organic cannabis, Thai Stick is famous not just for its rich back story and natural landrace genetics but also for its traditionally crisp highs, flavours and aromas. Perfect for any connoisseur or enthusiasts with a passion for purity and the history of marijuana, Thai Stick rewards all with its solid yields and unique qualities.

Nurturing Thai Stick seeds to maturity can be a challenge due to the large size of the plants, ranging in height from 180-220cm, as well the need for hot humid conditions similar to its birthplace in Thailand. Unless you live in the right climate this a variety that is best grown indoors where the environment can be controlled. Although these are tall plants the thin pliable branches lend themselves to training meaning they can work in many different spaces. The dedicated and passionate cultivators among you will be granted yields of 300-400g/m2 after a flowering period of 12-14 weeks.

The refreshing flavour of Thai Stick begins with a beautiful hit of spice, reminiscent of the type you might find in Thai cuisine, before bursts of sharp yet sweet citrus raise the experience to the next level. A deep organic skunky flavour provides the bass notes that result in a wonderfully balanced and flavourful cannabis.
