seedo machine weed

“Designed to simulate your specific plant’s ideal natural conditions, Seedo delivers precision agriculture for brag worthy yields using minimal space.”

The company reports that to date, Seedo devices have aggregated over 280,000 hours of grow data.

It can grow other things too but it’s safe to say, most people are using Seedo to grow weed.

“The Seedo, it’s really a magical process,” said Brian, one of Seedo’s first pre-sale customers to complete a grow cycle. “I hit a button on my cell phone, close the door and believe it or not, 12 weeks later there are buds to harvest… you get exactly what you want, what can be simpler?”

The airtight, stackable containers will allow cultivators to optimize land-use and reduce the environmental footprint of their farming operations.

Powered by AI and Machine Learning technology, Seedo enables anyone to grow anything with no experience and the same amount of space you would need for a mini-fridge.

CO2 for Home Growing

The use of CO2 for most home growers, particularly if you’re just starting out, can be expensive (think hundreds of dollars for CO2 equipment alone!). But the obstacles don’t stop there. Actually putting the equipment together and using it effectively for CO2 enrichment is no easy task. In fact, it could end up being a complete waste of time and money.

It’s a well-known fact in the agricultural world that high concentrations of CO2 can improve the growth and yield of a crop. Greenhouse farmers have been doing it for years. How does it work? In high-light situations, supplying more CO2 allows your plants to use more of that light, which results in increased photosynthesis and therefore faster growth and bigger yields.
In a natural ‘outside’ atmosphere CO2 moves at around 400 ppm. However, it’s been shown that the herb plant can benefit from up to 3 times that, between 1200 – 1500 ppm.

CO2 isn’t a magic formula that you can just increase and automatically see a bigger yield and faster growth. As with everything, it takes expertise and knowledge of how to use it. You’ll need to consider positioning, the right amount of light and timing.

What springs to mind when you think of CO2? Global Warming is probably pretty high on the list. One of the main causes of global warming and the effect it’s having on our earth is the rise of CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere.

A state-of-the-art system that requires almost no knowledge of nutrients, grow cycles or lighting needs, the Seedo relies on a patent-pending LED adjustment system that monitors plant growth and automatically moves the lights accordingly. If changes must be made to the preselected grow plan, users can adjust settings in the self-sufficient unit via a connected app.

Although the device can technically be used to grow other things like peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, parsley, oregano and mint, we’re pretty sure that its automated post-harvest drying system is mainly designed for use with the devil’s lettuce.

Airtight with built-in CO2 cartridges and A/C so there’s hardly a need to open the unit to let pests in or smells out, the interior of the Seedo can be monitored remotely via a built-in HD camera.

Marijuana enthusiasts are often passionate about many things, including their own hands and reflection, in addition to smoking the good stuff. But attention to detail generally isn’t one of their fortes, thusly process-oriented tasks, say at-home horticulture experimentation, can suffer at their hands.
