evergreen weed feed and seed

A2: Your lawn will be greener in 1 week, the moss will blacken and need to be raked out after 2 weeks and full weed control will take 3 to 5 weeks.

Do not walk on the lawn until the product has been watered in and has fully dried, since moss killer can cause stubborn brown stains on clothes, paving slabs, etc. Brush off immediately if accidentally spilt.

Q3: How do I get the best results?

What about children and pets?

Apply this product very carefully as it will cause brown stains on any surface it comes into contact with, e.g. clothing, tarmac drives, paving, decking and kitchen floors.

Avoid mowing the lawn 2-3 days before and after treatment. Do not use the first 4 mowings after treatment for mulching. They will be safe to use after being thoroughly composted for 6 months.

A1: After applying this product in accordance with the label instructions keep children and pets away from treated areas until the granules have been watered in thoroughly and the area has dried.

A3: For best results and even greening we advise using one of our lawn spreaders, application can be done by hand but this does require measuring out each square metre and ensuring 35g is applied evenly over the area.

Thank you in advance

My guestion is can I NOW put down some new grass seed? Because I can see no sign of grass and it’s 3 weeks ago that I used the horrible stuff that never produced any grass. 🙁

I’d leave it a little while longer before re-seeding . this is because the 4 in 1 type applications often contain a pre-emergent treatment which prevents any seed from germinating – you’ll see here that Rolawn recommend a gap of at least four weeks.

You said you had mostly weed and not much grass. These 4 in 1 feeds will have killed the weeds, which will normally mean you have patches and space between grass. But, you can rake over the areas to lift the thatch. This usually stimulates growth of grass. But because I can’t see what the patch looks like now, it’s hard to say if it’s worth putting new seed down or wait after raking over. It sounds like you only need to do patches here and there. Feeding a lawn is just one part of the job. Having grass can take up 70% of your time. It’s on-going and never ending. And that’s just cutting it.

Moving on to what’s inside so you can see this is an all-in-one product, it feed kills weeds and moss, high in nitrogen for a greener lawn 7 days and high potassium for a thick and tougher lawn.

The extra rain will help keep the soil moist and really wash that treatment into the grass and into the roots of the soil bed.

Some typical weeds that need targeting at this time of year would be dandelions and thistle.

Step 1 : Before Applying Lawn Treatment

One box of 100m2 treatment will cover an area ten meters by ten meters, my garden is 11 meters by 9 meters so it’s perfect for the size just to use one smaller box of Miracle grow.

I cover all this in my video below or if you prefer to keep reading then be my guest ?

To determine the size of your lawn multiply the length by the width in meters and you can work out the application rate for what you’ll need.

When applying the treatment I make two passes one going length ways and one going long ways, this will ensure an even coverage of the treatment and it will stop green stripe patches forming and in case you don’t overlap your passes properly.
